Thanks Dave, its been a learning process and I certainly now know a lot
more about the bike than I did even after all the problems . without your help
I would have been in sh-- street. the bike is going good as I said on the phone
and I have enjoyed the summer riding. 1500miles,it gives a guy like me a
boost if I do work on the wing to know you are there to advise. thanks
Dave all the best Alan

My wing made a horrible "nails in a tin" sound then refused to start. I was
about to "wing" it (sorry) and try and fit a starter motor myself but decided to
give Dave a call first. Nice guy but not nice news. My starter motor had
ripped the gears out of the back of the engine. Anyway, engine out, much
work done, weeks off the road but now all back together and running like a
dream! To be honest, if you own a wing and take it anywhere else you're
missing a trick!

Dave,
I can't thank or praise you enough.
Having gearbox problems after last years trip to the South of France I rang
Dave, he knew exactly what the problem was and quoted, took the bike over
and had a nice chat with him and his charming wife over a cup of tea. Dave
sourced new gear parts for me and fitted as well as putting in a heavy duty
clutch and giving the bike a full service and correcting a few of my old
attempts at servicing!
Kept me fully informed throughout and even gave me 50 pictures of the bike
being repaired and the old parts he replaced. Delivered the bike back to me.
Although not cheap, the bill was considerably under the quote and the bike is
as good as new again. Sincere thanks, highly recommended.
