Well what can I say Dave is a great bloke! After sitting for nearly 2 years in a
bike barn pull over garage in bits, I decided it was time to do something with
my Wing. A quick phone call to Dave and everything was arranged for me to
transport the wing to Telford. An 8 hour transit van trip and the bike looking
very sorry for itself was delivered to Awing Away. Dave kept me fully up to
date on the work being carried out even sending pictures over tinternet!
Dave phoned me to tell me the bike was ready and I couldn't believe it. I
hastily arranged a train ticket to Telford to pick the bike up. Dave even
picked me up at the station. There the bike stood, back together again and

sounding great with the new stainless steel exhaust. I must admit I was very
emotional seeing the bike again as my wife and I went everywhere together
on it. She recently passed away and that's the reason the bike was in such a
state as I couldn't bring myself to look at it.
Dave rebuilt the bike solved all the problems and gave me my wing back! I
am really happy with the bike and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dave to
anyone who's having trouble with their bike! Dave and his wife are a great
team and welcomed me into their home despite being a complete stranger!

Thanks for the coffee and bacon rolls and tea and sympathy Dave you are a
true gentleman.

Many thanks to Dave for bringing back to life my beloved GL1500 California
Classic which had problems with the carburettors and vacuum issues, Of
which Dave was able to rectify and sort out, at a very reasonable price. It did
run like a bag of old nuts, but now runs like a Goldwing Dream! A pleasure

to have Dave work on my pride & joy. I would recommend him to all my
fellow club wingers at Tudor Rose. Scott

Only had my wing for 10 months and to get anyone to work on it locally who
knows what there doing for a good price is impossible. Looked on the web
and up popped this bloke called Dave at AwingAway with great reviews but
along way from my home. Anyway give him a ring and he collected my bike
and gave her a full service, cambelts, tyres, and so on. Guess what! brilliant
work, cheaper, he lives for Goldwing's and yes i definitely will be going back.
